Children's Ministry SUMMER QUEST June 9-13th 9:00am-12:15pm Roselle Children Age 3 through 5th Grade are invited to join our annual Vacation Bible School "Summer Quest" We will be using the Desiring God curriculum "God Always Wins." If you have any questions or would like to pre-register please call the church office 630-529-8949 On Sunday mornings we have a variety of ministries for children in both Elgin and Roselle. Elgin: During the worship service, we provide a nursery for infants and toddlers and a "Jr. Church" class that meets for age 4 through 2nd Grade. During the Sunday School Hour following the worship service we have "Truth Quest" for ages 3 through 5th Grade. Roselle: During the worship service, we provide a nursery for infants and toddlers and a "Jr. Church" class that meets for age 4 through 2nd Grade. On Sunday Evenings at 6:00pm during the school year we have "Truth Quest" for ages 3- 5th Grade. Youth Group Far too many Jr. High and High School students are walking through life not knowing what God intends for them. They seek satisfaction in things and relationships that do not honor God. This youth group is a place for students who want to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ - to get the fuel they need to live faithfully for Christ in a world that does not love and follow Him. Visit The Youth Website! College and Beyond Ministry for Young Adults: Freeloaders on Grace (F.O.G.) We are dependent on God for all of our needs. We, not in our power, but by the power of Christ are saved. Our verse is Ephesians 2:8-9 "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast." However, unlike true freeloaders who have not the power of God, we choose to give back to Christ in our thoughts, words and deeds. Philippians 2:12 "Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in mypresence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out yoursalvation with fear and trembling,". We are freeloaders on His grace alone working our our salvation with fear and trembling. |
