Our church is governed by a council of elders, who share equally in the shepherding of the flock at Grace. These men are chosen and affirmed by the congregation because they have demonstrated spiritual maturity and a strong commitment and ability to serve the church, according to the requirements of 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9. Our senior pastor serves as one of the elders, and devotes himself to the leadership of the congregation through the ministry of preaching and teaching God's Word. Together, the elders seek to equip God's people for the manifold works of service that God has prepared in advance for them to do (Ephesians 2:10; 4:11-13). Those who serve as elders oversee, provide for, and encourage the spiritual life of the congregation.
